August 7th and August 31st are going to KICK ASS!!

Why?

One word.

STAIND baby!!!

I have a small obsession with them. These will be my 6th and 7th Staind concerts in three years. I didn't buy VIP tickets this time around. Too spendy for this newly single momma who doesn't make bank. ~ Sigh ~

(Oh ~ 3 Doors Down and Hinder will be there too.)

I couldn't sleep last night so I watched a ton of Aaron Lewis/Staind videos on You Tube.

Here are a couple of Aaron covering Metallica. Enjoy.

And now, one of my favorite Staind songs...

I'll end it with my favorite 3 Doors Down song.

The soccer Gods have spoken ~ I am IN HELL.

This has to be punishment for what I said about soccer last night (see post below). What do I mean? See photo:

Let's do the math:

~ Hunzer has three (biological) children.
~ There are three bottles of antibiotics in the fridge.
~ Hunzer has three SICK KIDS.

Not just sick. STREP sick. This was my reaction when I found out this afternoon...

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK. fuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuck

My nanny took my daughter to the doctor on my request because I could tell Thing 1 had some sort of funk going down in her gullet. After she tested positive for strep, the nanny called and asked if I wanted the other two tested. I went for it because I figured it would give me peace of mind that the boys didn't have it.

This is when the Soccer Gods shat all over me.

There IS something positive in all of this...Thing 1 has her dance recital this weekend and now that she's on antibiotics, she won't have to miss it!

I want to stay home with my babies tomorrow but I can't. My coworker (and the only other one who can do my job) is in Italy until June 1st.

Bitch.

I kid, I KID!!!

Seriously though ~ with her in Italy, I cannot stay home for anything. Sometimes this FT job thing BLOWS.

Reason #4,328 that I am going to hell.

My kids play soccer. They love it. Thing 2 is especially good at it. He loves to get in there and take charge. Thing 1 plays soccer like I would play soccer...by standing in the end where there is no action and talking to her girlfriend. Cracks me up.

Why am I going to hell?

Because I *hate* soccer.

Seriously.cannot.stand.the.game.

If you know me at all, you'll know I love sports. Football, Hockey, Baseball and *coughcoughracingcoughcough*. I just cannot find any love for the soccer (I have, however, found the love for David Beckham).

Back to finding the love for soccer ~ I've tried. I am trying and I will continue to try...but holy hell, sitting through two hours of soccer is sheer HELL for me. I'd rather take a dry ass fucking by a carnie that hasn't showered in two days and recently had broccoli for dinner.

Wait.

That's gross.

ANYWAYS ~ While I loathe soccer and I bitch about it, my children think I *love* it and always will. I will go to their games/practices with my camera in hand, my cheering voice loud and clear and with Mommy hugs and kisses abound. It's part of motherhood. It's part of growing up and putting your kids' needs first.

Soccer still sucks though.

***Disclaimer: Although the author of this post would rather get a pap smear by a shady doctor in a dark alley with a rusty spoon, it doesn't mean she's not going to innudate you all with photos of Thing 1 and Thing 2 in full soccer mode. Oh, and the Baby Boy Child going apeshit over the fact that there are hundreds of soccer balls in the field and he cannot keep them ALL TO HIMSELF.

12 Days?!?!?

Geez o-PETE! I post a doozy of a post and then disappear for 12 days. My bad!!

First and foremost ~ HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to you all!! Even if you aren't a mother, you have one and because of her, you are HERE. *smile*

I'm still moving in to my new place so once I get settled, I will have a TON of pictures to share!! I've been taking a lot of photos of my new house as I get things unpacked and situated.

Guess what?!?

Thing 1 turned SEVEN years old. SEVEN!!! We had her birthday party at Pump It Up on Friday night. It was my first time being there and we LOVED IT. The kids had a blasty blast, as did the parents. I loved the fact that all I had to do was show up. No cleaning, no mess, nothing. We showed up, had fun and left. WOOT!!!

Have a FABULOUS day blogland ~ take time for YOU!!
