That is the only word I can come up with to describe this post.
AND
In the wise words of Smokey...
DAMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!
Now if only I could smear the red velvet cake on the model, my life would be complete. My birthday is on Thursday...can I have this for my present?? PLEASE???
~ xoxo ~
PS...I can't stop looking at the model (thank you Queenie and D&G for bringing this to my attention ~ my kibbles and bits thank you too).
PPS...I can't stop thinking about the piece of red velvet cake I just put in my belly.
PPPS...I can't stop looking at the model. And thinking about eating the cake off of his abs. And then "accidentally" dropping my fork down his pants.
Thing 1 lost her second tooth today. The only problem?
I can't do teeth.
I'd rather eat Bob Barker's moldy taint than watch some kid wiggle their nasty ol' tooth. Thankfully she lost it while next door playing with the neighbor kid. Now all I have to do is get the *gag* tooth out from under her pillow tonight without wretching outloud.
On a different note ~ I went to Amanda's memorial garden yesterday. It was at her school. They planted a flower garden and a tree right outside of her Special Ed room last spring. I tied some balloons on the tree and laid some daylillies on top of the snow. I didn't visit her actual gravesite because it was covered in snow and I didn't think I would be able to find it (it's a flat stone). I loved visiting her school after all this time. Two years. Wow.
He's so damn cute I can't stand it!!! Baby Boy Child didn't want to fall asleep like his big brother and sister so we let him play for a while. I couldn't resist taking these pictures. :)
Who doesn't love these? I got home from work at 11:00 this morning due to a sick nanny. It was nice to be home with the kids for the day ~ bringing Thing 2 to preschool, bringing the Baby Boy Child to my work to show him off, going to the gym, making dinner, etc. Thing 2 had a tough day today though. He was very crabby, stubborn and high-maintenance. All three were down for the count by 8:30PM. This has left me time to clean the kitchen, do several loads of laundry and clean my bedroom.
BORING!! Let's get on with the cuteness. First, a video. Watch Thing 1's expression right as she pops up behind the highchair...
One more quick video of the Baby Boy Child beating up his big brother, Thing 2. Don't mind the folded laundry on the couch. Actually, it looks like the Baby Boy Child got in to some of it and threw it off the couch. Oh well.
Now for the cute photos!
Thing 2 was "Artist of the Week" at school this week. It was also Pajama Day!
There's my photo update. BUT WAIT! There's more!! These are on the LOL President website and I loved them. These in no way reflect my political views. They are just for fun!!
I did my part and voted in the Minnescrotum caucus tonight. I made it with ten minutes to spare. After that, I went to the gym and did cardio while watching the Wild/Detroit hockey game. We lost in OT but it was a great game. I'm amazed at my increasing stamina on the cardio equipment. I've lost 12 pounds since the beginning of the year. I weigh-in tomorrow at work (we are doing a Biggest Loser contest). I'm a little nervous about that because I didn't eat well this past week and didn't get in any gym time.
You know what? I haven't scrapped or stamped or hell, even knitted/crocheted anything in MONTHS. I want my crafty mojo back!! I don't care how I get it back...I just want that shit back NOW. I need to plan a weekend of scrapbooking with the girls in my family so I can get back in to the groove. I think about working on it after work but by the time I get home, I barely have the energy to work out.
I really need to get back in to knitting and crochet for my sanity. There is so much going on right now. Working with yarn is so peaceful and calm. I get to just relax while doing it. I have a coworker due to give birth any day and one who is in her first trimester. I have a patient with a beautiful three-month-old daughter that won't grow up with her Mama (who is only 31). It's so sad. I want to make some sort of gift for her daughter that connects her to her Mom. Any ideas?
By the way ~ CONGRATULATIONS AMY!!! I was so excited to read your news!!
Time for me to head to bed. I'm sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeppppyyyyy!! Goodnight loves.
Since I haven't been able to check my bloglines for a few days, I updated myself on the important things in life like Perez Hilton's latest gossip and my favorite cats...
Oh ~ I *heart* Obama! This picture just slays me.
I need to go check out the superbowl ads online. I saw one that cracked my ass up. It was the Diet Pepsi Max video with everyone nodding off until they drink Max. Then they start dancing like Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan in "Night at the Roxbury". Loved that Kattan was in it, too!
Later taters...have a great week!
~ xoxo ~
*Post-Script...
I just saw the Bud Light ad with Will Ferrell and will forever laugh!!
A little bit of sweet mixed with a whole lotta SASSY. I talk about everything from poop to partying to projects of a varying sort. I have a dirty mouth and I like the color purple. Deal with it.
